Concerning A.I. Items: 

 

We at Godzillafest would like to share our position on AI generated items in our vendor hall.  We believe that AI is detrimental to the convention space in general and has no place at an event meant to honor the characters and stories brought to life by human creators.

We define AI as content created, in whole or in substantial part, using generative artificial intelligence tools or algorithms.  Any party offering AI items for sale may be asked to have those items removed from display.

In the event a party violates this policy a second time, the party may be removed from the event without refund, and/or banned from participating in future editions of the event. The terms of this policy may be revised at any time. 

​

We ask our vendors to act on good faith and we in turn will make our best effort to keep the dealers room clean of unwanted product.  Simply put, it is disrespectful to the spirit of creativity in general to allow items generated using AI that was trained on intellectual property taken without permission or payment.

This will be added to the Official Rules List for GODZILLAFEST 2027.
